Church

Its been rare that I make it to church this couple of months. Been teaching on Sundays too. Last Sunday managed to attend the morning service and the church looked beautiful, all lighted up and with the palm fronds tied onto the beams. Next week to China so will miss church again.

St Basil in the morning

I grew up in the Pentecostal church tradition and so the Anglican tradition and high church tends to be kinda stiff for me. But have learnt to appreciate the quietness that can be achieved and the traditions that are honored and appreciated. Like the palm tree leaves and the palm cross given after communion.
