This is a wild fruit, small (largest is like a Malaysian fifty sen), pinkish and taste like an overripe avocado. Ibans call it Enkala and it seems to be in season now. Its being sold everywhere.Wash the fruit, put in lukewarm water for a while and its ready to be served. It has a rather large stone (seed) which you pop out and eat the fruit alone, or dip it in soy sauce. Yummy!
