Vege Stall

We saw this place selling fruit and vege, and stop by, talked to the guy, Chinese, young man, cant really speak Bahasa Malaysia, but could communicate that he mainly planted pumpkin (2 varieties)and sold to a midle man who bought it between RM0.70 to RM1 per kilo. The fruit and vege at the stall was the one rejected by the middle man, as they had flaws. He also planted or sold for others, vege such as chillies, corn, cucumber, papaya, and winter melon. All the vege sold here were rejects, because there was a hole here or a bug there etc. He made it clear that the middle man wanted perfect looking fruit and vege, as that was what the customers wanted. If only he saw Jamie Oliver shows...
