Doren came back from the market with some pitcher plant flowers, excited as ever. Why? She was going to cook glutinous rice in the pitcher plant flowers. Apparently this was a delicacy among the natives here. We had tried before at one of the native shops.For me, it was just glutinous rice, couldn’t taste anything different... guess I don’t have that sensitive palette.

We call it “tramuok” and glutinous rice cooked in it definitely tastes much better with extra aroma that come with it!
cant smell /taste the difference, makan saja...ha ha ha
