Kota Kinabalu has a new airport, and its much better than Kuching. More shops and just looks nicer. The Business Lounge is also better, larger, and has computers with Internet access!
I got the sea view seat, can see the houses in the sea right next to the golf and beach resort ..
Stayed here before, nice, but out of the way .. unless you specifically want to be at a resort..
The island right in front of KK .. and its inhabitants...
and a fleeting but still beautiful view of Mount Kinabalu ..
