The Sunday Post, pg. 4, Jan 11, 2009

This is a clipping from The Sunday Post, pg. 4, Jan 11, 2009.

Some excerpts:

SIBU: The majority of the elected people's representatives are not rich and they need the government to look after their welfare.

...

"We don't want to see our YB's* being intermittently constrained by financial limitations in their service to the people. This will render them ineffective."

...

"As such, we ought to look at their (YB's) welfare with care and concern."

...

He explained: "There is enough to be spread around, and certainly taking care of the welfare of the YB's merits attention and support of our leadership."

Ernest

*YB is a short form for the salutation "Yang Berhormat" (direct translation - Respected One), and is usually used for elected representatives of the people, Members of Parliament, Members of the State Parliament, Ministers, Deputy Minister and the like.

Bullshit punya statement.

Rinduk
