No, I did not present a poster, I presented a paper during an oral presentation session for half an hour. Now I understand why some of the senior guys in the meetings are against sponsoring staff to go overseas to do a poster presentation. 
Its just too simplistic and brief, with not many participants attending. Plus when you consider it would cost around R10k to RM15k to go to a overseas conference... not worth the while. If its within the confines of the state where cost is minimal... maybe, but if one can prepare documentation that is required for a poster, then why not do a proper paper presentation?Ernest
