Mock took me to see the lights at the city's riverbank project.
The riverbank project reminded me of Kuching's own and perhaps it could be made better, with more chairs and perhaps restaurants or places serving drinks, such as in Melbourne or even Kuching. The lights project was good, it gave the people somewhere to go .. plus I noticed that most of the town was in Chinese New Year mood, with red lanterns hanging everywhere. Also on the ride back at Nilai, I saw banners from the Menteri Besar (Chief Minister) wishing the people Chinese New Year. This was something that is new to me and I think its a move in the right direction.
